Zac Efron Lunch At Chaya Brasserie

Looking ever-so-handsome, Zac Efron spotted chatting with some female friends after having lunch at Chaya Brasserie on Friday.

The "High School Musical" heartthrob then visited Warner Brother’s studios where he joined co-star girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens for a screening in Beverly Hills.

In related news, Mr Efron has also recently been confirmed to present at the 66th Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night (January 11).

The 21-year-old joins Sandra Bullock, Gerard Butler, Sean Combs, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, and Pierce Brosnan as the final presenters announced on Thursday.

Patrick Swayze Hospitalized With Pneumonia!

Patrick Swayze has reportedly checked into the hospital this morning for pneumonia.

"Patrick has asked that I tell you that this morning he checked himself into the hospital for observation," said A&E president and general manager Robert DeBitetto.

"Chemotheraphy can take its toll on the immune system and illnesses are a part of that. Patrick wishes me to tell you that he's very sorry he cannot attend, but plans to get back to promoting 'The Beast' soon. He thanks everybody for the outpouring of support. We hope to see him back on his feet soon."

Swayze, who is battling pancreatic cancer, had been scheduled to discuss his new show, The Beast. On an interview that aired Wednesday, Swayze told Barbara Walters, "There's a lot of fear here. There's a lot of stuff going on. Yeah, I'm scared. Yeah, I'm angry. Yeah, I'm (asking) why me. Yeah, I'm all this stuff. You can bet that I'm going through hell. And I've only seen the beginning of it."

Michael Jackson Shops For Own CDs

Just when it seemed Michael Jackson couldn’t look any weirder, he’s outdone himself once again. The singer emerged in Los Angeles yesterday draped in a dark silk veil, black trilby hat and aviator sunglasses for a visit to a Hollywood store.

His face, ravaged by years of botched plastic surgery, was hidden behind a green hospital mask and he appeared to be wearing a bouffant hospital cap over his hair. It was a peculiar ensemble even by Wacko Jacko’s outrageous standards.

The 50-year-old browsed though a collection of art books during his visit but he apparently was in the mood to reminisce, and settled on purchasing his own music. He picked up a Michael Jackson box set Visionary: The Complete Singles Collection, which consists of 20 discs spanning his entire solo career and sells for around £70.

Jackson, 50, has relocated to the city with his three children to be closer to Hollywood and the entertainment industry.

Troubled British rocker Pete Doherty is making desperate attempts to win ex-girlfriend British supermodel Kate Moss back.

The couple broke up back in 2007 but he's still reportedly struggling to get over her. During a recent gig in London, Petey told the audience how much he missed her and wanted her back.

She does have a thing for ugly dudes that look like they do way too much crack, so maybe Pete hasn't blown his chances just yet. We liked Kate better with Pete better than the new guy she's with, she's such a bore now.

Who do you think Kate should be with? Ideally she should drop both of them and date someone with a little more class!

Lindsay Lohan can deny that her and Samantha Ronson have broken all the want, but actions speak louder than words.

Lohan tried to squash the breakup rumors insisting that they haven't broken up, but for them to go so long without being seen together is quite unusual. Sources close to the couple insist "she is completely in denial about it."

Earlier this week a lonely Lindsay was spotted partying with Sean Penn. They went to Nobu in West Hollywood together. After Nobu, they went over to newly reopened club Guy's. Just last month, during another Lindsay/Sam fallout, they were spotted all over Manhattan together.

So does Sean provide Lindsay a shoulder to cry on? We all know that's Lindsay's specialty. We'll have to wait and see how this one unfolds!

With the advent of Taylor Lautner’s confirmation to return as Jacob Black in New Moon, there are now casting calls for actors to play his Quilette tribe members. Roles are needed to be filled up before cameras roll in March.

Disney Actress Vanessa Hudgens are rumored to have auditioned for the role of Leah Clearwater. Twilighters know Leah as the fiesty and lone female member of Quilette werewolf pack and play’s an important role in Sam’s and Jacob’s lives.

Ugly Betty's pretty sister is pregnant!

2009 has been good to the cast of Ugly Betty. Earlier this week Rebecca Romijn welcomed twins, and now we get word that her co-star Ana Ortiz and husband Noah Lebenzon are expecting their first child together.

Back in October, Ortiz, 37, told People magazine she and her husband Noah Lebenzon were keen to start a family, stating, "It's definitely something that my husband and I talk about all the time."

Ortiz is expected to give birth sometime near this summer. Congrats to the happy couple!

Amy Winehouse's New Man

Amy Winehouse is currently in St. Lucia with her new man, aspiring actor Joshua Bowman. And maybe he’s providing inspiration to Amy, who’s been lagging a little on the music making!

She was spotted at the hotel bar singing and playing the piano for Joshua, and the rest of the people there.

Onlookers said:“As soon as she finished playing she rushed over to Josh and was hugging and kissing him. Her voice was amazing. Everyone in the bar was amazed to hear her. She sang a few songs and looked to be really enjoying herself. Josh was obviously impressed. They were all over each other once she had finished singing, although they quickly moved outside to the terrace.”

Well, it looks like the days of Blake are long gone, and at least the new man is having a positive influence on Amy. Hopefully she’s going straight to the studio when she gets back to London!

Lily Allen Comments About Drugs

Although she’s struggled with drug and alcohol abuse in the past, it doesn’t seem that Miss Allen has yet come to terms with the dangers associated with substance abuse. Lily Allen's recent comments about drugs not being so bad for people have deeply angered British anti-drug officials, and the UK’s Shadow Home Secretary Dominic Grieve.

She says, “The only story is that drugs are bad and they will kill you - you will become a prostitute, a rapist or a dealer. But that’s not true. I know lots of people who take cocaine three nights a week and get up and go to work. But we never hear that side of the story. I wish people wouldn’t sensationalise it. Some people are just bad at taking drugs.”

David Raynes, who from the National Drugs Prevention Alliance said: “When someone like Lily Allen makes these remarks she is only harming young people who will at some point in their lives have to make a decision about taking drugs. We already have a major drug culture in the UK and she is affecting that.”

A spokesman for drug and alcohol treatment charity Addaction agreed, telling The Sun: “These comments are misguided.”

Lily Allen has once again proved that she doesn’t exactly think twice before opening her mouth!

Canadian Model Liskula Cohen Sued Google!

Canadian model Liskula Cohen has sued Google for a number of snarky remarks that were made by a blogger using the company's Blogger service. The former Vogue cover girl has been called 'skanky' and 'an old hag' by an anonymous blogger on a website called Skanks.

The defamation suit, filed in Manhattan, seeks a court order compelling Google and its Blogger service to identify the anonymous blogger. Google declined to discuss any specifics, only responding to the claim by saying they sympathize with victims of cyberbullying but "take great care to respect privacy concerns and will only provide information about a user in response to a subpoena or other court order".

While some people are quick to dismiss that the model would have a case, and that she's just looking for attention, I'm not so sure. It's nearly impossible to identify bloggers who don't reveal their real name without the help of the companies that maintain publishing platforms, and a line has to be drawn somewhere regarding what people can say anonymously just because they're using the internet to say it.

The attacks on the blog are rather personal and vicious, and they're targetting Cohen almost exclusively.

Scarlett Johansson is featured on the cover of the new Valentine’s Day-themed February issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine! In her HB coverstory, Scarlett reveals that she and hubby Ryan Reynolds are not planning on spawning anytime soon.

Johansson says that she finds the baby rumors hilarious.“I got these calls that I was engaged way before it happened. I’ve also been pregnant several times. With, like, sextuplets. That must mean I’ve been eating way too many bagels or something.”

The 24-year-old also talked about her engagement to hubby Ryan Reynolds, as the two were hitched in September of 2008.

The “Other Boleyn” beauty explained the proposal, saying, “I wasn’t surprised that it was happening, but anyone being presented with a beautiful diamond ring, as a girl, you just squeal with delight. You say you can’t believe it, but of course, you really can.”

Although she’s finding time to make marriage work, she says she will not be taking a break from her career.

“Every actor wants to work on a Western. I would run a brothel, like a madam or something. I’m working with what I got. It’s only so long that people are going to want to see me in a corset. So I might as well do it now,” she explains about her most wanted movie roles.

Alyssa Milano is engaged to marry a Hollywood agent. Publicists for Milano said Tuesday that the actress accepted a marriage proposal on Dec. 18 from David Bugliari, an agent at Creative Artists Agency. The two have been dating for over a year. No wedding date has been set.

The 36-year-old "Who's the Boss?" star most recently has appeared in a recurring role on "My Name is Earl." Her other TV credits include "Charmed" and "Melrose Place."

Brad Pitt Was Faithful To Jennifer Aniston?

Brad Pitt is extracting himself from the tabloid love triangle. The actor says his relationship with current flame Angelina Jolie began sometime after splitting from Jennifer Aniston.

In October, Jolie revealed that she and Pitt fell in love while making the 2005 film "Mr. & Mrs. Smith." In November, Aniston called Jolie's comments "really uncool," because she was married to Pitt while the movie was in production.

Pitt sets the record straight in a story posted on W magazine's Web site Wednesday, defending both women and insisting that his relationship with Jolie didn't begin until after he and ex-wife Aniston split in 2005.

"Jen is a sweetheart," Pitt tells the magazine for its Jan. 20 issue. "I think she got dragged into that one, and then there's a second round to all that Angie versus Jen. It's so created.

"What people don't understand is that we filmed ("Mr. & Mrs. Smith") for a year. We were still filming after Jen and I split up," he continues. "Even then it doesn't mean that there was some kind of dastardly affair. There wasn't. I'm very proud of the way that it was handled. It was respectful."

Pitt says he and Aniston "still check in with each other."

"She was a big part of my life, and me hers," he says. "I don't see how there cannot be (that). That's life, man."

It isn’t every day a celebrity admits that it went wrong! Lisa Rinna, a 45-year-old mother of two, is doing just that in a recent interview. Lisa Rinna says that there’s one surgery she wishes she could take back.

“My cheeks, I had Juvederm put in my cheeks. That’s what I overdid-big time,” Rinna, 45, explained to Momlogic.com in an interview.

She says, “I saw a picture of myself and thought, ‘Uh-oh!’ You have to be careful. I’m a perfect example of that!”

She continues, “At my age, you have to look good if you want to continue working. Sometimes we do things to help, and I did. I had tried Botox, and then fillers came into the plastic surgery world, and you think, ‘That’s not a bad idea.’”

“I can’t not be honest about it. I’d look like a fool. It’s so obvious But what this happened, I realized I couldn’t hide it.”

“You get older and insecure and you think you need it, and you don’t. I learned less is more. Keep your skin good.”

Jennifer Love Hewitt And Fiance Split?!

According to People, Jennifer Love Hewitt, 29, and fiance Ross McCall, 32, have broken up. The couple got engaged in November 2007 after two years dating.

"They broke up over the holidays and have ended their engagement," a source close to the couple told People. "They're both really sad about this. Even their friends are surprised; they seemed really happy. Everyone just wants the best for both of them."

When contacted by Access Hollywood, a rep for the "Ghost Whisperer" actress could not comment on the report at the time of publication.

Yep, Aubrey O’Day has reportedly signed a deal to pose nude in Playboy. This should be old hat for her, since she already stripped down a few months ago for PETA.

Aubrey’s getting paid a whopping $500,000 to pose for the March cover of the magazine. A source tells The New York Daily News, "Aubrey’s making about $500,000 to drop trou. For that kind of money, she was like ‘Why not?’"

"If I have to be ridiculed and called a whore and the party animal and the dumb girl for the rest of my career, I'm OK with that. Because I love who I am. You're going to have to interpret me however you're going to interpret me," Aubrey recently told Complex magazine.

Rebecca Romijn Gives Birth!

People magazine is reporting that Rebecca Romijn and hubby Jerry O’Connell are the proud parents of a pair of newborn twin baby girls who were born on December 28. According to Rebecca’s rep, the girls are happy and healthy and have been named Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip.

Rebecca Romijn and husband Jerry O’Connell have welcomed healthy twin girls, Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip. They are the first children for the Ugly Betty actress, 36, and actor O’Connell, 34, who married at their Calabasas, Calif., ranch in 2007.

The new mom, whose pregnancy cravings included lemonade and soy cream cheese, is planning a long maternity leave. "I’m taking quite a bit of time off," Romijn told PEOPLE in November. "I really want this to be my job for at least the next six months" "My mom’s coming to help us as much as we need. But this is something we’re really looking forward to. I’m really excited to see what happens next and to visit a completely different chapter in my life."

Lindsay Lohan And Samantha Ronson Break Up

What's with all the breakups this year of 2009? It's only the first week of January! Rumor has it that Lindsay Lohan and girlfriend Samantha Ronson have finally called it quits.

According to sources close to the couple, they broke up right after their very public spat on New Years Eve, and Lohan has already moved out of Sam's house.

Lindsay and Sam were in Miami together co-hosting Mansion nightclub for New Years Eve. "They looked happy as can be, pictures together, having a good time," a source said. But after they left the club they got into a heated argument.

Lohan's rep confirmed: "There was an argument - I don’t know the details - but they left for LA together and it’s fine." Ya, we've heard that one before!

Lohan and Sam, who are usually joined at the hip, haven't been seen together since New Years. Its not like Lindsay has a job to go to, so everyone on Robertson Blvd keep an open eye for Lindsay and her leggings.

Maksim and Karina hooked up after Karina and Mario Lopez split after dating for 2 1/2 years. They've been only dating for a few months but they seem to be happy together so were gonna wish that it lasts forever and ever!

Kelly Rutherford Divorce

Gossip Girl actress Kelly Rutherford filed for divorce Friday from her entrepreneur hubby, Daniel Giersch.

Giersch, 35, and Rutherford, 40, married in August 2006 and have a 2-year-old son, Hermés. Rutherford -- who plays Blake Lively's mom Lily van der Woodsen on the CW series -- is about three months pregnant with her second child.

The actress cites irreconcibale differences on the paperwork, which was submitted to a judge at Los Angeles Superior Court.

This is Rutherford's second marriage. She split from Carlos Tarajano in 2001 after just five months of marriage.
